Need a hand with Looky!? Email Samuraizack@gmail.com. Please include your iPhone model, iOS version, Looky! version from Settings, and the steps that led to the issue. You do not need to send photos or videos of your child.
Camera, microphone, and Photos permissions
Looky! needs camera access to capture photos and video, microphone access to record video with sound, and Photos permission to save captures. You can review these permissions in iOS Settings. If a capture fails to save, use Retry saving capture in Looky! before closing the app.
Distraction previews and videos
Open the background selector to choose a built-in scene or an imported video. Off hides distraction previews and turns off the Duo outer display. Selecting a background or video turns the preview back on. When folded, drag the floating preview anywhere to move it; pinch or use its corner to resize it.
Video distractions require Looky! Pro. Choose Add videos, then Photos or Files. For videos stored in iCloud, download the original in Photos first if loading takes a long time. Playback and mute controls are in the background selector.
Tap effects and sounds
Open Tap Effects to choose a particle effect and sound. Choose None for silence. Independent Sound Effects and Tap Effects toggles are available in Settings. Device volume and your current audio route also affect sound playback.
Restore Looky! Pro
Looky! Pro is a one-time purchase. Use Restore Purchases in Settings or on the Looky! Pro screen with the Apple Account used for the original purchase. Pending purchase approvals do not unlock Pro until Apple confirms approval. For payment or refund requests, use Apple’s purchase support.
Saved captures and privacy
Photos and videos are saved to your Photos library. The in-app session gallery shows only captures from your current Looky! session. Distraction backgrounds and particle effects are not included in your saved media.
